About Career Services

The Goodwin College Career Services Department offers a broad spectrum of career services to all students attending Goodwin College. Students may receive career counseling and assistance with several workshops and programs including career and personal assessments, resume development and writing, cover letters, interviewing techniques, job search strategies and employment information. The office maintains listings of part-time and full-time job opportunities (both on a job board and online). Experiential education is an integral component to a student’s education at Goodwin College and Career Services offers assistance in that regard.

Mission Statement

The primary mission of the Career Services Department is to support and empower Goodwin College students and alumni in developing, evaluating and effectively implementing their career plans. We further strive to promote faculty involvement in the career development process through collaborative relationships and classroom presentations. To fulfill this mission, Career Services provides résumé and cover letter writing assistance and review, job search preparation, interviewing skills, career workshops, and recruiting activities. Our goal is to assist Goodwin College students to become the best possible career-ready candidate that each can be.
