Q: If you had to describe your experience at Goodwin College in 2-3 sentences what would it be?

A: “I learned that I CAN do something which at first seems insurmountable!!! I learned to draw form within myself, and take off the blinders. I guess I have learned to be more open to change”. ~Cindy Woodman

Q: What was/is your most memorable moment at Goodwin College?

A: “To preface this moment, I need to go back to my first semester at Goodwin when I proclaimed quite loudly to my public speaking professor that I could not possibly go in front of the class to give any sort of speech~ surprisingly, I muddled my way through it. Had it not been for that early opportunity, I may have just fainted when I was honored as Valedictorian for the graduating class of 2007 and had to give a speech in fro not 1,000 people at the Bushnell Auditorium; without a doubt, my most memorable moment. ~ Merilee DeJohn

A: “What originally drew me to Goodwin in the first place; the small, intimate atmosphere, the care and concern that ranges from the academic office to the academic classroom. The feeling that we’re all in this together”. ~Merilee DeJohn

Q: How have you grown personally throughout your time with us?

A: “I have grown not only personally but in many other ways while I have attended Goodwin College. I have met so many wonderful people here that share the same life struggles that many of us do on a day-to-day basis. I learned to understand that you don’t have to be “perfect” or have a remarkable IQ to be in college. It’s learning about each other, about life, and all the interesting aspects that go along with it”. ~Tiffany Hoxie

A: “Above the beyond the opportunity to grow academically, I grew as a person` a task I’d thought was long accomplished. The journey shared by such a small and diverse group joined many of us in friendships, immeasurable experiences, and collective pride”. ~Merilee DeJohn
