Welcome and thank you for
visiting our website. I’m pleased to have this opportunity to share with you
some of the exciting qualities of Goodwin College, our program, our students
and our alumni.
Our program is widely recognized for the ethics and skills of our graduates.
We prepare our Human Services Program graduates to make a significant
difference in the lives of people who are facing challenges in meeting basic
human needs, achieving a meaningful quality of life or maximizing their
independence. Our goal is to provide students with an education that will
enable them to do just that in ways that are real and enduring.
Because of our extensive contacts with human service organizations
throughout our region, we are able to ensure that our courses are
state-of-the art and reflect the knowledge and skills that employers are
looking for in their employees. We build on that strength through faculty
members who are experts in their field and who are committed to assisting
you to become a knowledgeable and competent professional.
Throughout your college career we will meet with you regularly, assist you
in determining and refining your career goal and work with you to tailor a
plan of study that will enable you to succeed. This personal attention is
what has helped hundreds of our graduates to assume respected and rewarding
roles as human service professionals throughout our community. We’d welcome
