| Students born on or after January
1, 1957 must submit evidence of immunization against measles and rubella in
compliance with Connecticut State Law Public Act 889-90. Under this
bill, proof of immunization is not required if a student graduated from any
Connecticut high school after 1998 and was not exempt from providing proof
of immunization when enrolling in school because of religious or medical
contraindication exceptions. Adequate immunization for measles
consists of two doses of vaccine at appropriate intervals. At least
one dose must have been administered after December 31, 1979. Students
are also required to show proof of immunization for rubella (German Measles)
with one dose of rubella vaccine administered after the student's first
