I graduated Manchester Community College in May 2002
with an AS in Respiratory Care. I graduated University of Hartford in
December of 2003 with a BS in Health Sciences. I completed my Registered
Respiratory Therapist exam in March of 2005 and earned the RRT credential. I
worked full time as a RRT at Hartford Hospital on the Cardiology/Surgery
team and I am now a per diem therapist there. I am a specialist in Nitric
Oxide therapy and also work as a Resource Respiratory Therapist and a
clinical preceptor. I am a member of the AARC which is the American
Association for Respiratory Care as well as the NBRC which is the National
Board for Respiratory Care. I am on the Board of Directors for the
Connecticut Society for Respiratory Care (CTSRC) I came to Goodwin College
in June 2006 and I am the Director of Clinical Education for the Respiratory
Care Program.
On the personal side, my husband and I live in
Hebron. I am actively involved in my church, Church of the Holy Family in
Hebron where I am a religious education teacher and Eucharistic Minister and
a member of the Compassion Ministry visiting families who have experienced a
loss. In my spare time I love to garden, work out and ride our Harley
Davidson. |
